JOURNEY FOR HOME presents an encouraging collection of spoken and musical reflections that are sure to be trusted companions on your faith journey, especially during Lent or in times of personal doubt, struggle, frief, or longing. The six spoken reflections here are scripture based and ideal for private prayer, small faith group gatherings, or for use in religious education and formation sessions. Six songs on the recording include familiar Christian hymns given new life by Paul's fresh arrangements and two newly composed pieces inspired by classic texts. With a bit of a coffee-house feel, the soothingly spoken meditations are weaved with acoustic musical arrangements that prominently feature the flute, violin, cello, piano, and guitar, in combination with a variety of harmonic vocal textures, from SATB choir, to duos, trios, and even male chorale.
