Journey Into the Bible: Mark
Written by Catholic biblical scholars, Journey Into the Bible engages participants in an interactive and faith-building study of the Bible — one book at a time.
Designed for small groups of adults who want to deepen their faith, this six-week program is direct, easy to understand, and easy to lead.
Parishes and small groups can start the program at any time of the year.
Each book of the Bible is covered in six lessons with six handouts; each handout addresses a specific theme particular to that book. Illustrated with maps and timelines, the lessons introduce participants to the Bible from the perspectives of the writers, their backgrounds, and the cultures of the Old and New Testaments so that participants can appreciate the power of the message for believers of yesterday and today.
