Gabriella Rogers
Gabriella Rogers has been a journalist for more than 15 years and is the medical reporter for Nine News. She has broken numerous stories including breakthroughs on ovarian tissue transplants, cardiac stem cell therapy, breast cancer screening, and deep brain stimulation for dystonia and parkinson's patients. In 2000 she received the Public Health Association Award for TV journalism.
In 2007, she worked for ABC Sydney and used Freedom of Information laws to obtain exclusive details of the cause of the collapse of the Old Pacific Highway which killed a family of five. She was a legal affairs reporter for the ABC and Nine in Melbourne for several years, covering major criminal and corporate cases including Melbourne's underworld killings, John Elliott's Waterwheel trial, the Ansett collapse, and the Jack Thomas terrorism case. Gaby obtained exclusive pictures of a brawl involving convicted murderer Carl Williams inside the Crown casino.
Gaby was born in Perth and in 1992 she completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at Curtin University, majoring in journalism and economics.
